Celebration 2008!

Make sure you put this date in your diary right now – Sunday 25th May – On that day there will be an event you simply can’t afford to miss: Watford Celebration 2008! at the Colosseum Watford, Rickmansworth Road, Herts, WD17 3JN - click here for a map of the location.

This event will bring together all the cultures, faiths and talents of Watford and surrounding areas in a day of celebration and friendship. On that day, you will be able to find out about the rich diversity of our town.

There will be a variety of performances from our talented ethnic and artistic groups. Numerous stalls will inform you of the various organisations dedicated to making Watford a safe and family friendly town, inclusive of all faiths, cultures and nationalities.

In the Sacred Space area, you will be able to explore each faith group’s beliefs and values.

There will also be entertainment for the children and plenty of food from our various communities.

The event has been kindly sponsored by Mayor Dorothy Thornhill and St Michael’s Catholic High School and Specialist College. Entry is free and all are welcome.

Enjoy a wonderful day at the Colosseum on Sunday 25th May.

The doors will open at 11am till 6pm. Watch for our yellow banner on
the Colosseum at the beginning of May!
